Fighter Verses: memorize Bible App Reviews

I love this app! It has helped me memorize over 50 verses so far! I like that you can choose your own verse to import, in whatever translation you prefer (and you can change translations each time if you wish). I am particularly helped by the different types of quizzes, from fill in the blank to typing first letters to verbal. I have recommended Fighter Verses to all my friends!

Really cool app, an amazing way to memorize scripture, but the verses are regularly extremely long, and I wish they could be short stuff, like one verse per week. Everything else is awesome though.

This app has helped me with scripture memory like nothing else. I share the verses weekly and encourage others to use this app. I believe it is the best bible memory app available. Definitely returns exponentially on the minimal investment!

Used to work perfect now it doesnt open. Sent report and heard nothing from customer service.

This app works great until they updated it recently... I have tried restarting my phone and email them with no response... Hopefully they fix it soon but do not buy until you know… Cant even use it right now!

So, so sad. Updating not only lost all of my memory work and verses, but now I cant use NASB! What were you thinking? Why did you ruin such a (formerly) great app?

Some reviewers say they have had problems with this app since it updated. I only downloaded it June 17 and it works well. Am pleased with how it is set up especially the various quizzes you can take which really help you see your progress. Am trying to memorize whole chapters so this is a real help and incentive to keep on keeping on.

This is a wonderful app for bible memorization. The quizzes help with advancing you from knowing some key words to total memorization. I particularly like the "sing the verse" option which helps me learn quicker. I only wish it were available for more than the first several verses.

I started with a goal to memorize Col 3 in April, 15. That expanded to a goal of memorizing the New Testament. So far I have memorized Phil 1:1-10 and Col - 1 Thess 3 using this app. I love the audio record feature. No problems he with crashes.

Is anyone else having issues with the app crashing on the iOS platform as soon as its been installed?

Cant get app to stay open on my iPad. Crashes every time though I have removed and reinstalled. Have latest software for all but so far, nothing works. Disappointed!

To build the "My Verses" component of this application, one is forced to use a copy/paste operation from an online source if you want to use anything but the unreliable esv (which, by the way, is straight from the pit of Hell) and should have been fully disclosed in their product description. What a disappointment! Ive requested a refund; well see what happens. P

Love the quiz choices. Very clear for my 5 & 7 year old too. Easy to use and they have really chosen the verses well!

Like the app but since the update, it crashes immediately every time. 3 weeks and no fix. Will work on first download and then will crash EVERYTIME.

Fighter verses and the tools in this app are the best Bible memory resource Ive ever encountered. Unfortunately the app is needing some attention. It frequently crashes and the navigation and settings really need to be revamped. If you can get it to work for you it is very good. Good luck and God Bless.

Loved this app until I changed the starting date of Set 1. Now it crashes EVERY TIME I launch the app. Cant even get into it to change the date back. So frustrated

This app is a wonderful way to grow in your faith. It has many collections of verses set up for you to memorize and multiple games and methods to help memorize the verses quickly and effectively. It is amazing what a difference having Gods word hidden in your heart and mind can make. Very thankful for this app and the creators behind it. Would definitely recommend it to others!

Whenever I talk to people who are discouraged by how difficult it can be to memorize scripture, I recommend this app. It contains enough scripture for years of memorization, and the quizzes, songs, and other tools it uses to aid memorization are a great help.

I love this app. But ever since the last update it crashes and resets itself. So, I can get to the last section of memorization and then right out of nowhere it resets and I have to start all over. Very frustrating! its enough to make me get in the flesh rather than the spirit.

I love this app. It has memory exercises and even music for the verse.
